Q. IS IT BETTER TO REPAIR OR REPLACE AN OLD APPLIANCE?

A. With a broken appliance in your house you have only two choices. One option is to call an appliance repair company and attempt to cut costs. If it is a success, you will be able to continue to use your current oven, freezer, refrigerator or washing machine and dryer. The other choice is to replace the appliance.

Your household appliances come with an projected lifetime. If it is a broken appliance in the early or in the middle part of that average lifetime, we would recommend calling Cox Appliance Repair. In the event the appliance is somewhere near the end of its expected lifetime, we suggest replacing the appliance with a new unit when your budget allows.

Q. CAN YOU REPAIR MY APPLIANCE DURING THE FIRST SERVICE?

A. It’s our goal to perform the repair on the initial visit. Over the years we have been serving customers, we estimate that we are successful in repairing appliances with one visit about 95% of the time. We load most of the most common manufacturer parts in our service vans as well as all of the necessary tools to complete the job. If we do need to reschedule to finish the work, there will not be any add-on charge.

Q. IS THERE A SERVICE WINDOW FOR AN APPOINTMENT?

A. When you schedule a visit from one of our repairmen, we will provide a one to three hour time frame for our arrival at your house. And, our technicians will call 10 to 15 minutes in advance of their arrival. We know how important your time is. So, we do our utmost to arrive on time. Since some repair jobs require more time than estimated, we give our technicians some breathing space to finish one job and still not be late for the following job.
